I purchased a work of Notre Dame de-la-Salette at the Marba Gallery in Fredericton when I was expecting my first child (born Feb. 2002); it is the first oil painting I ever had. The style and vibrant colors always lift my spirits and no matter where I move to, it is always one of the first paintings hung and occupies a prominent spot in my living room. I am sad to say that we are moving to Nairobi, Kenya, this August for two years, and will be unable to take our belongings.
